Forming remarkable leaders for a better tomorrow.

Our Academics

Holy Redeemer provides its students with a rigorous curriculum that is a balance of academics, religion, and enrichment subjects—such as music, art, physical education, and technology. Students graduate as 8th graders with a broad knowledge base that serves them well through their high school and college years.

Accreditation Process

Holy Redeemer Catholic School is accredited by The Florida Catholic Conference Accreditation Program— one of the oldest, most robust, and cutting edge Catholic accrediting programs in the country. Our standards are reviewed and revised throughout the years. The current standards use The National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic and Secondary Schools, as well as Florida Department of Education and Florida Department of Children and Families requirements .

Resource Team

Our Holy Redeemer Catholic School Resource Team assists our teachers and students with one-on-one and/or small group support for children with learning difficulties.  The team also works with students who have strong skills in one or more areas and need to be challenged in order for them to use their talents and interests to their maximum potential.

Resource teachers are responsible for monitoring and recording students progress alongside classroom teachers. They also work directly with teachers and provide them with techniques and strategies to be implemented in their classrooms.

Academic Teams Overview

Holy Redeemer offers their students the opportunity to educate the mind, invigorate the body and expand the heart with rich extracurricular activities that build on what they are learning every day in the classroom. The intellectual growth of our students is a spiritual imperative. Our Academic Teams bring a level of competition and exposure like no other. Our students not only test what they have learned but also have the opportunity to meet and learn from other students. Learn more about extracurricular programs and how your child can get involved.

“Let us Lead by Serving Others”

The National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. And for more than 80 years, it has prepared today’s students to be tomorrow’s leaders.
Holy Redeemer will charter a new Beta Club beginning in the fall of 2016. The qualities of an excellent Beta member are character, achievement, responsibility, and leadership; therefore as a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic School Junior Beta Club, students will meet the following criteria: Maintain a 3.5 overall average, regularly attend scheduled meetings, participate in service projects, and demonstrate appropriate school behavior and leadership skills. Students in grades 4-8 are eligible for Beta Club membership. Students in grade 4 will be invited after the first Trimester grades are posted. Beta Club sponsors are  Mrs. Karen Tinter, Mrs. Christine Robbins, and Ms. Marielena Munoz.

Future Problem Solvers

Future Problem Solving (FPS) provides competitive and non-competitive components for today’s curriculum via a six-step model which teaches critical and creative thinking, problem solving, and decision making. Students identify an area of concern from their own community to examine over the course of the school year. Then, students develop and perform an oral presentation of their project including a writing essay explaining their potential solution to the problem.

Fine Arts

The Holy Redeemer’s major drama production is the Spring Production for grades 5-8. Each year, a different musical production is chosen and students are invited to tryout for the major roles as well as acting in the play. If your child would rather be behind the scenes, students can also work as back stage crew members who are responsible for the props, sets, lighting and sound. Plays are usually staged on Friday and Saturday evenings. Our drama productions have become a Holy Redeemer tradition where the school and parish community come together to support our talented students.
